Valentine's Day - Day 13 of Love
For the 13th day of Love I created lottery style scratcher cards. Using a recipe I found online, these cards were really fund and simple to make! I created the cards themselves on my computer using Word and Clip Art. Then I mixed liquid dish soap and acrylic paint in a 2:1 ratio. It took about 3 layers of paint to cover up the words. My boyfriend hasn't tried scratching one off yet, so we shall see how they turned out!

Valentine's Day - Day 12 of Love
For the 12th day of Love I gave my love a chocolate heart cake with an adorable Link card. I had bigger plans but unfortunately wasn't feeling well today so I decided to make it simple instead!
My original plan: 'Heart Fudge Sundae' I was going to make fudge using my heart shaped pan and then top it with vanilla ice cream, whipped topping, and a cherry!

Valentine's Day - Day 11 of Love
Today my boyfriend and I spent the evening together with Dinner and a Movie! Not so crafty today, but heartfelt nonetheless! We went to Olive Garden and enjoyed their 3 course deal that's been advertised. Then we went home and watched the movie House at the End of the Street. It was a nice evening together and sometimes the best gift you can give someone you love is quality time listening and holding each other :)

Valentine's Day -- 9th Day of Love

For the 9th Day of Love I wrote my love a poem. It was a bit cheesy, but honest and loving. I downloaded a stationary page from an hp website. I also created a few of the flower origami from the Dollar Tree. I really liked how the lily turned out the best!

Valentine's Day - Day 8 of Love

The reality: Having a sick kid at home we didn't want to have friends over and get them sick, so the plans are postponed for now.

Valentine's Day - Day 7 of Love
For the 7th day of Love I printed and colored these cute little flyers and posted them in various places around the house for him to find. (They were printed 2 on a standard sheet of paper)

Valentine's Day - 6th Day of Love
For the 6th Day of Love I made my boyfriend an origami sword and shield to go along with the cute gamer reference card I had found. The card is a warrior and says "I used to be an adventurer like you...then I took an arrow in the heart". This is a reference to the game Skyrim in which all the guards tell you "I used to be an adventurer like you until I took an arrow to the knee."

Valentine's Day - 4th Day of Love
For the 4th Day of Love I made my boyfriend go on a scavenger hunt around the house. It was fun watching him puzzle over a few and wandering around the house. Along the way he was rewarded with Chocolate Kisses.

Valentine's Day - 14 Days of Love, Day 3
For the Third day of Love, I made my boyfriend breakfast including wheat pancakes real maple syrup w/ pecans and powdered sugar, scrambled eggs w/ cheese, strawberry & banana smoothies, and uncured bacon. He found the above note on his plate :)

Valentine's Day - 14 Days of Love, Day 2
For the 2nd Day of Love I bought some beautiful roses from a local nursery (who in my opinion make the most beautiful color roses ever!). I had also bought some fruit from the local farmers market with my son, including blackberries and kiwis.

Valentine's Day - Day 1 of Love
I have decided that to in order to show my boyfriend my appreciation and love I am going to do something special for him for everyday for the first 14 days of February. Just little, creative things to show him that I care. For the first day I received a free QR code online that I was able to personalize with a audio message. I left the QR Card for him to find while I was at work, and in the message I laid out my plans to execute the 14 Days Of Love.
Here is the link to Qramel, where you can also receive a free digital QR Printable.
