Crochet Flower Barrettes
This is an easy and fun way to make your own custom flower barrettes for spring!
I bought clips and barrettes from the Dollar Store, and the crocheting is fairly simple for even a beginner to figure out. I used the pattern from here. It uses a variety of double, triple, and half-double stitches, so it's a great way to practice those different stitches as well. Just use some hot glue to attach them to the clip or barrette. I was able to slip the barrette under the tied yarn ends on the flower and then hot glued it underneath the barrette to keep it in place.
I made a set of two red flower barrettes for a co-worker and couldn't resist creating my own panda face pattern to create my own barrette! I just created a white circle and then two smaller black circles for the ears. Then I embroidered the face using black yarn.
